Beautiful View of Johor Straits

On one sunny day and I visited this small fishing village and the scenic view really surprise me!!
The village located at the back of Taman Perling - a.k.a. Perling Seafood Village, Singapore just at opposite.

Photo from Google Earth

I simply walk in to one of the Seafood Restaurant call 'Restaurant Asli' (N1°27.634' E103 °42.298'). It's not a big & commercial type, but it's nice and comfort. You can have very nice view of Johor Straits from the restaurant.

The locals are staying along the straits from both sites of the restaurant.

Another restaurant on the right.

This is view in front, right & left from the restaurant.

Closer view.....

Closer view.....

Right side

You can even zoom in and see some high-rise building at Johor Bahru Town on your right.

I cannot comment on the foods yet. I will definitely come back again for the Sunset and the seafood.

Johor Bahru Weather on 2nd JAN 2008

After about a week of sunny day in Johor Bahru, the flood victims have gone back to their howe individually. The hot sunny day has comfort all of them at the moment.......

I was at the OUB Bank - Tmn Molek on 24th Dec 2007 (X'mas Eve). As you can see many peoples are rushing in before the holiday begins. I felt relax and happy with the weather.......
But it won't last long, the rain started to pour in the early this morning (27° C). It will be another wet day.......
Let's just pray hard for the river water level maintain and don't put the hard time for the victims again!!

The weather in Johor Bahru today

Finally we can see the smile of the lovely sun!
After more than a week rain in JB, most of the peoples here are worry about the flood again! Until today, we finally enjoy the bright sunny day and blue sky.
So I decided to snap some photos around Johor Bahru town area.

Hopefully this sunny day will last longer in Johor Bahru.
Because I just received a phone call from my friend who stay at Segamat, and reported that Segamat already flood. Water level around 100mm now.
