Dim Sum Restaurant at Malacca (Malacca 11-12th Nov 2007)

Wake up in the morning quite late. After settle and pack everything, we checked out from the hotel and drive for our “Brunch” (Breakfast and lunch together).
We were looking at one Dim Sum (點心) restaurant along Jalan Gajah Berang. Info from 9W2KG. After around 30 minutes of merry-go-round, we found the shop finally.
The restaurant call “Ban Hong Xiang Tea House”. (N2°12.524 E102°14.567)
Map of “Ban Hong Xiang Tea House”
9W2KG advised me to go early or after the breakfast time, because the place is pack and crowded during morning session. The best time is after 11am.

When we reach the shop, they are about to close. Luckily there are still some dim sum enough for us!
All were delicious!
The meat ball was good serves with homemade chili! Most of the 'dim sum' here are worth trying. No regrets for finding it!
This shop seems like a family business to me, because I can see most employees here have similar face. Look like brother and sister.
The shop open from Monday to Sunday, will close twice in a month during weekday.
Food : 4.5/5
Services : 4.5/5
Price : reasonable

Special Homemade Herbal Tea at Malacca (Malacca 11-12th Nov 2007)

The info also given by 9W2KG, he said that the herbal tea only available in this particular shop. You can’t find it anywhere in Malaysia or this region anymore!

Because of curiosity, we decided to find it.
Along Bukit Cina Lane, we were ‘Merry-Go-Round’ again!! We asked anyone who walk along the street. After an hour, when we about to give up, surprisingly see THIS!!

GPS coordinates : N2°11.691 E102°15.131

We are wondering why we cannot spot it after so many round, it’s because it’s not a shop! It’s an old house along the road.
I bought half dozen of it, cost me RM24.00. Wah! Very economy!

We spotted this Colourful Tony's Guest House while driving away of this Herbal Tea shop.

Portuguese Village (Malacca 11-12th Nov 2007)

Heard about this village long time ago, never have chance to drive around. So I decide to go there for some photos. (About 10 minutes drive from Hotel Equatorial)
Basically the village looks like ordinary malay village, the structure also doesn’t represent the culture of Portuguese. You will not notice this if you miss the signage Portuguese Village.
The only picture I snap is this San Pedro Devils Curry Restaurant. N2°11.018 E102°16.031

Famous Malacca's Popiah (Melaka 11-12th Nov 2007)

After the disappointment for only snap 2 pictures, we were heading to Madam King Supermarket at Jalan Bunga Raya.

That gives me a chance to taste the Famous Popiah (薄饼) in Malacca. (N2°11.975 E102°15.084)
The queue was long when I place my order. You see cars stop beside it and many customers surround the stall waiting for their delicious 'Popiah'.
It's took me 15 minutes queue, for one popiah?!

1:30pm - 5:30pm
7:30pm - 10:30pm
Small : RM2.50

Big : RM3.00

Price is higher than normal popiah, but the size also double of normal popiah those selling at JB.

I was so regret because only bought one! The taste was so good and different compare with normal type.

That's end my trip to Malacca.
